Introduction to Gathering 2013
Our communities are welcoming newcomers from around the world. It’s exciting to rub shoulders with the people of the nations as they become our neighbours, business owners, educators and integrate into every part of society.
Practical workshops and worship times will help with understanding and loving our secular and religious neighbour. Informative visits to a Mosque, Hindu and Sikh Temple are available to help us learn and develop healthy ways of relating to newcomers.
The entire weekend is planned to provide opportunity to hear, meet and interact with a mix of people from a variety of cultures and countries. Food, music and other cultural displays will draw you to new experiences and awareness of the nations on our doorstep.

Sadiri Joy Tira, D.Min., D.Miss.
