God has placed us in a family and/or body. We need each other to stay centered in Christ. The Board is appointing a Theology Committee that will take special interest in guiding this area, nudging us along in our journey of discovering the beauty of Jesus and his ways.

The July Prayer Guide is a great way to be reminded of our pastors and leaders in this family of churches. Many of our congregations are involved in various summer-related ministries and also have unique opportunities for outreach. As you pray for the churches and their ministries, pray too for those who will be affected by the Good News of Jesus, ~ that they will want to know more about Him.

We are excited to welcome Ruben Mercado and Aurelio Ovirece to Winnipeg. They arrived from Bolivia on June 26, and are being hosted by Jacob Friesen. This week they will be visiting some of our churches in the area.
Thursday, June 28 at 7:30pm – Ruben and Aurelio at Bagot Community Chapel
Sunday, July 1 at 10am – Aurelio will be sharing at Gospel Fellowship Church, Steinbach
Sunday, July 1 at 10:45am – Ruben will be sharing at Morrow Gospel Church, Winnipeg
During their time, they will get to experience a variety of aspects of Manitoba. Next week we anticipate the arrival of more international visitors as we approach Relay 75, EMMC’s 75th Anniversary Celebration. Ruben and Aurelio will also be meeting with some of our partner agencies and ministries in the Winnipeg area.
Abe Giesbrecht (Bergfeld Mennonite Church) will be traveling with them and also acting as one of their translators.
