Thanksgiving Opportunities

Deuteronomy 8:10-11 “When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the LORD your God for the good land he has given you. Be careful that you do not forget the LORD your God.”
One way that we remember God and his generous gifts, especially in Christ Jesus, is by being generous ourselves. So, if you are looking for a way to express your thanksgiving to God this season, please consider giving to the work of the Go Mission! initiative and the Evangelical Mennonite Mission Conference.

I would like to personally thank each and everyone of you for your prayer support for the Villa Nueva school in Pailon. Alot of us come from a Mennonitte background and these are our people, they have just lost their way and it is our job …as Christ followers to help them find there way to the Lord. As the school administrator my heart goes out daily to the children and the extreme conditions they live in and I thank the Lord for giving me the opportunity to help and make a difference in their lives. Sometimes a friendly smile or sweet gesture changes that day for them. A safe haven for alot of students. A place where they are accepted and appreciated, a place where there is no abuse in any form, a place to be heard. We all deserve a place like that and for these students Villa Nueva school is that place. That place would not be here if it wasn’t for the prayer support and the financial support we receive from Canada. You are all a big part in changing these students lives together, we can’t do what we do here if it wasn’t for you and for that I am thankful for. With your continued support the work here in Bolivia can continue. Thank you for partnering with us here.See More

Let me add a non-mennonite name to those commenting on the video. It may not be the start of a great acting career, Jacob, but it was great with a clear message to the heart.
It has been our privilege to partner on several occasions with the… EMMC and its great team in Bolivia. We have been blessed beyond measure as we have seen what God is doing through those who have dedicated their lives to offer opportunity, both spiritually and educationally, to the children, youth and families of eastern Bolivia. The financial resources may be meagre but the riches of their dedication and love is amazing.
We look forward to returning to Bolivia in January to share what we can offer and to be once again blessed by those who have dedicated their lives to make a difference in the lives of the needy and by the very children whose lives have been given spiritual and material hope.
