Narrative Budget 2012 – A Shared Vision
Date: October 31st, 2011
Attached is an exciting description of our shared ministries and it’s impact. Before you look at this narrative budget it will be helpful for you to watch this video. It helps us understand our actual impact and true potential.

Now I invite you to prayerfully read and engage with us around the following questions:
1. How is this form of budget presentation helpful in explaining what we do together through our centrally administered budget?
2. Do the proposed percentages in each of the ministry areas – missions, discipleship and connecting reflect our priorities and values?
3. What portions of our overall ministry income should we administer locally, regionally and centrally?
The General Council is meeting on Nov. 17,18 to discuss the proposed budget.
Will your church catch the vision of what we can accomplish together and indicate this as they plan their budgets for the coming year?
A summary of the line item budget is provided in this document. A detailed line item budget is available through your General Council representatives.

We note that we have a two churches in Southern Manitoba that historically have contributed up to 1/3 of the church contributions. Without their strong support of our shared ministry we would not be able to carry on. We say a big “Thank YOU!”
